AWS Path from Tech Data

Your AWS Path consists of 8 sprints that have been developed to support you at every stage of your journey to successfully launching a profitable enterprise-level AWS practice. You will assess your cloud practice and learn how to navigate the AWS Consulting Partner Journey and rise through the partner tiers. Review the requirements, attend critical trainings and demonstrations, and receive one-on-one support to further your cloud practice. Each sprint is made up of a range of smaller training assets, that can take anywhere from 1-16 weeks to work through.

Sprint 1: Discovery Phase

Explore becoming an AWS Consulting Partner to be eligible to receive business, technical, sales and marketing resources to help enable you to grow your AWS business and better support your customers.

Sprint 2: Planning Phase

Start with APN registration to begin your AWS Consulting Partner Journey

Sprint 3: Execution Phase: Knowledge

Review the training roadmap from Tech Data and AWS, and allocate the relevant users to the training resources to accomplish sales and technical competencies.

Sprint 4: Execution Phase: Experience

Identify current AWS customer projects that can be added to your APN profile to satisfy the launched opportunity requirement for each tier.

Sprint 5: Execution Phase: Customer Success

AWS requires partners to submit reference accounts and customer satisfaction responses. The quantity of each will vary by tier requirement.

Sprint 6: Execution Phase: Resale

AWS Consulting Partners who have demonstrated success on AWS are encouraged to apply for the AWS Solution Provider Program (SPP).

Sprint 7: AWS Competency Partner Solutions

Explore the benefits available to partners who achieve an AWS Competency, and the requirements associated with each solution.

Sprint 8: The AWS Public Sector Partner Program

The AWS Public Sector Partner (PSP) Program recognizes AWS Partners with solutions and experience in delivering government, education, and nonprofit customer missions around the world.
